We Republicans often talk a good game about helping working class Floridians.

In truth, we are not walking the walk

As your Republican candidate for Governor, I'm committed to addressing the real issues facing Florida's working families:

  • Worker Protection

    FACT: Unemployment Benefits are Paltry Compared to Other States. Workers in other states routinely get 26 weeks of coverage. Laid off workers in Florida get 12. Benefits top out at $275 per week in Florida. Other states in the South pay more than twice that.

    Affordable Housing

    FACT: If you lose your job and need a place to live, good luck finding help from Florida. If you are unable to spend days filling out forms and navigating Florida’s bureaucracy, you and your family will be arrested for sleeping in a park.

    Healthcare Access

    FACT: If you're stuck in a low wage job and need to see a doctor, healthcare is harder to get in Florida than in 40 other states because Florida refuse to participate in the Federal Medicaid program for low-income workers.

    Homeowner Relief

    FACT: If you are a middle-class homeowner in Florida, you are being hit with skyrocketing home insurance costs. We can fix the problem by strengthening the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (FHCF) to provide more affordable reinsurance options for insurers, helping them lower their risk and costs.

My Commitment

These are just a few of the reasons I’m seeking the Republican nomination for Governor. We won elections in 2024 by promising to help the working class.

Now we need to keep the promises we made.
